Discussions often start from a film or TV programme or material from the <a title=\"Joint Public Issues Team\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jointpublicissues.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joint Public Issues Team<\/a> (the national interest group within the URC, Methodist and Baptist Churches). The Group is an open group, and we welcome new participants, whether you wish just to attend a discussion of particular interest to you, or whether you would like to attend meetings of the group regularly. Current topics include immigration issues, credit unions, and the post-election fall-out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The Queens Road Housegroup<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 so named because it meets in the home of one of our members who lives in Queens Road \u2013 meets about once a month to study the Bible (we are currently\u00a0looking together at the Old Testament book of Ruth) and to discuss topical matters, but it often deviates onto current events, moral issues and the like.\u00a0 It is a very informal group and would always be delighted to welcome newcomers.
