\nSunday 10 March:\u00a0 ‘Giving Up’<\/strong>
\n11am\u00a0 \u00a0 Morning Worship in the Old Hall\u00a0 \u00a0(Bible reading: Luke 4.1-13)
\n<\/em>We may plan our Lenten Fasting as a particular discipline \u2013 yet whenever we give, it means we’re going to be ‘doing without’. How might we keep our focus upon God in circumstances of austerity?<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday 17 March:\u00a0 ‘Giving Back’
\n<\/strong>11am\u00a0 \u00a0Morning Worship in the Old Hall\u00a0 \u00a0(Bible reading: Deut. 26.1-11)
\n<\/em>We come into the world with nothing \u2013 so whenever we give, it means we’re handing over something that we in turn have received.\u00a0 How might an awareness of ‘salvation history’ \u2013 and our own history \u2013 impact upon our readiness to give?<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday 24 March:\u00a0 ‘Giving ear’
\n<\/strong>11am\u00a0 \u00a0Morning Worship in the Old Hall\u00a0 (Bible reading: Isaiah 55.1-9)
\n<\/em>We tend to think of giving as our initiative \u2013 yet whenever we give, it means we have in some sense heeded someone’s prompting. How might we learn to listen attentively and to discern God’s prompting?<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday 31 March (Mothering Sunday):\u00a0 ‘Giving freely’
\n<\/strong>11am\u00a0 \u00a0All Age Worship in the Old Hall\u00a0 (Bible reading: Luke 15.11b-32)
\n<\/em>We try to be wise in our handling of resources \u2013 so whenever we give, it means we’re surrendering control and opening ourselves to risk. How might we learn to display Godly generosity by balancing carefulness with recklessness?<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday 7 April: ‘Giving forward’
\n<\/strong>11am\u00a0 \u00a0Holy Communion in the Old Hall\u00a0 \u00a0(Bible reading: John 12.1-8)
