Yorkshire became the second synod to divest from fossil fuels in March, after the National Synod of Scotland made a divestment commitment in 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Isaac&#8217;s church, Vine URC, in Ilford, made a divestment commitment in October 2018 and is supporting a campaign for the URC to divest nationally.
