For many people the stress and disruption of Covid-19 are causing serious mental fragility. Pray for all those suffering from mental health problems at this time and for those in our community who provide help and support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">National:<\/span><br \/>\nPray for all those who have been staying at home unable to work and who now need to negotiate a changed expectation of work in the workplace. Pray for those currently returning to work and also for those who jobs are such that there is no way to carry them out at this time.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Global:<\/span><br \/>\nPray for Indian Ocean Islands: Comoros, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oikoumene.org\/en\/resources\/prayer-cycle\/indian-ocean-islands\">World Council of Churches Ecumenical prayer cycle<\/a>)<\/p>\n<pre>Photo by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/@seefromthesky?utm_source=unsplash&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_content=creditCopyText\">Ishan @seefromthesky<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0Unsplash.\u00a0 \"With a population of almost \r\n400,000 in Maldives, Male' houses about 200,000 people including foreign \r\nworkers. As the local islanders finish their 10th or 12th grade they are \r\nsomehow forced to come to the city for their higher education and to look \r\nfor better opportunities. Its really sad to have one single city developed \r\nover 30 years instead of developing islands in different locations in \r\nMaldives. The current situation could have been avoided. I hope to see \r\nfive more cities like this in Maldives in different locations so that one \r\nplace won\u2019t get packed.
