{"id":15460,"date":"2020-11-21T17:35:08","date_gmt":"2020-11-21T17:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/?p=15460"},"modified":"2020-12-24T22:22:43","modified_gmt":"2020-12-24T22:22:43","slug":"take-part-in-a-new-listening-campaign-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/index.php\/take-part-in-a-new-listening-campaign-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"Take part in a new Listening Campaign survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Listening-campaign.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"568\" height=\"234\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15461\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Listening-campaign.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Listening-campaign.png 568w, https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Listening-campaign-300x124.png 300w, https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Listening-campaign-150x62.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 568px) 100vw, 568px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trinity is now in its third\u00a0year as a member of Merton Citizens (MCs). \u00a0MCs is part of London Citizens, which in turn is part of Citizens UK.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens UK, to quote its website <em>\u2018\u2026organises communities to act together for power, social justice and the common good. \u00a0We are the home of community organising in the UK. \u00a0Our diverse member organisations include schools, churches, mosques, synagogues, parents\u2019 groups, health practices, charities and trade unions. \u00a0We help these members to develop leaders, so they can participate in public life and hold politicians and other decision-makers to account on the issues that matter to them.\u2019 <\/em>\u00a0 Citizens\u2019 best-known campaign is to secure a Living Wage for all employees, which Trinity signed up to in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>MCs currently comprises 19 faith, education and community institutions across the Borough of Merton including some churches that we know through our joint involvement in the Merton Winter Night Shelter; the Raynes Park Community Church who we know well, is a particularly active member.<\/p>\n<p>The current focus of MCs is on a Listening Campaign to find out how its community is faring while living with Covid-19. \u00a0The emphasis is particularly on housing and mental health issues.
