We thank you for what she has meant

We treasure memories

\nof celebrating and marking moments in her life,
\nof the opening of parliament,
\nof her presence at significant times in our history,
\nand of her speaking to us on radio and television.<\/p>\n
We rejoice that she lived and shared
\nthe faith we hold
\nand that she followed her vocation,
\nhearing a call to serve.<\/p>\n
We pray for those who will miss her most deeply,
\nthat they may find comfort and hope.<\/p>\n
We celebrate and affirm our faith
\nthat death is defeated,
\nthat new life awaits your children,
\nand that creation is renewed in Christ.<\/p>\n
We pray for our nations at a time of change
\nand for our new King.
\nMay he follow his mother in faithful service
\nand may your blessing rest on him.<\/p>\n
We pray too for our elected representatives in parliament,
\nfor our public servants
\nand for all citizens, of all faiths and none.<\/p>\n
