Worship Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Friends,<\/p>\n

Just a quick note to say that the Worship Notes for August have now been made available on the URC website here<\/a>.  September’s should appear in the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n

We’ve also been building up the Worship Notes Archive here<\/a> so that these notes can be referred to as we journey through the three year cycle of readings offered us by the Lectionary.  <\/p>\n

In August we have notes from myself, Peter Ranscombe, Angela Rigby, and Roo Stewart.  Peter offers a “Christmas in August” service to help focus on the Christmas narratives away from the hustle and bustle of the season – there is also an alternative focused on the Lectionary readings if Christmas in August doesn’t appeal.  Roo has created a service with a Greenbelt feel as, on that Sunday, the URC will have a service at the Greenbelt festival.  <\/p>\n

If you need to find these resources and haven’t got the links to hand please go to urc.org.uk then press “Your Faith” and then “Prayer and Worship.”<\/p>\n
