It is being organised by ministers of the United Reformed Church as part of a number of events that aim to encourage people of faith to engage actively with ecological justice issues.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Key note speakers at \u201cEarthyear: The Conversation\u201d include Prof. Michael Northcott, professor of Ethics at Edinburgh University \u2013 best known for his contributions to environmental theology; Alasdair Roxburgh, Christian Aid&#8217;s churches campaigns manager; Mark McAllister, chair of oil spill prevention, response and advisory group; Rosalind Selby, principal of Northern College; Maina Talia, secretary of the Tuvalu climate action network and Maleta Rumaroti from the Kiribati Protestant Church.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tickets for the conference are available <a href=\"http:\/\/dmtrk.com\/2JB1-99EK-2VKMB1-3X2PV-1\/c.aspx\">here<\/a> for just \u00a36.00 \u2013 and include a simple lunch. The event will begin at 10am on Saturday 26 September, at St John\u2019s Church, Waterloo, London.
