After a gloriously hot and sunny Saturday, the day of our barbecue turned out a little\u00a0disappointing. \u00a0As Morning Service ended a few raindrops fell and our stalwart barbecuers found themselves outside on their own! \u00a0Through thick smoke they cooked away, and about sixty\u00a0church members and friends – young and not so young –\u00a0enjoyed\u00a0an excellent lunch with a superb variety of salads and puddings brought by all. \u00a0Our thanks to all who organised, cooked, washed up, or did anything at all to make the event so enjoyable.<\/p>\n
