{"id":4068,"date":"2015-09-30T23:00:06","date_gmt":"2015-09-30T22:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/?p=4068"},"modified":"2015-10-04T19:20:56","modified_gmt":"2015-10-04T18:20:56","slug":"letter-from-the-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/index.php\/letter-from-the-minister\/","title":{"rendered":"Letter from the Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\">18 September 2015<\/p>\n<p>Dear Friends<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I am writing to let you know about the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Rededication Service<\/strong> to be held at Trinity on <strong>Sunday\u00a04\u00a0October at 11am<\/strong><\/span>, and to encourage you to attend.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In becoming members at Trinity, each of us has promised to share in the life of this church, and to be faithful in our commitment.\u00a0 To help us in this, opportunities for rededication and renewal can be immensely valuable.\u00a0 By remembering God&#8217;s hand in our lives, we&#8217;re able to commit ourselves to a coming year of Christian fellowship and activity, looking forward to all that God has in store.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This annual <strong>Rededication Service <\/strong>is therefore a good time to celebrate and renew our shared participation in Trinity&#8217;s work and witness. What&#8217;s more, it&#8217;ll reflect the clear signs that we&#8217;re on the threshold of an exciting new phase in our church&#8217;s life and growth&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">the service will include the reception of <strong>five new church members<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399;\">it&#8217;s also the first Sunday morning service for Trinity&#8217;s <strong>new Director of Music<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">the <strong>cr\u00e8che and Junior Church<\/strong> will be available as normal, as part of our work with young people for which we have <strong>over 40 children on the books<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993366;\">amid increasing calls and opportunities for Christians to engage with the local community to make a difference, the service starts a series equipping us for <strong>discipleship in the world<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I would greatly value your participation on 4 October at Trinity, and would be personally delighted to see you there.\u00a0 Transport to and from the church can be arranged for you if necessary.
