{"id":7254,"date":"2017-05-24T10:08:00","date_gmt":"2017-05-24T09:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/?p=7254"},"modified":"2019-05-16T18:13:50","modified_gmt":"2019-05-16T17:13:50","slug":"thy-kingdom-come-prayer-event-at-trinity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trinitywimbledon.org\/index.php\/thy-kingdom-come-prayer-event-at-trinity\/","title":{"rendered":"Thy Kingdom Come &#8211; Prayer event at Trinity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Thy Kingdom Come<\/strong> is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost.<br \/>\nWhat started out as an invitation from the Archbishops\u2019 of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.<\/p>\n<p>We have decided to hold a 24-hour prayer event\u00a0at Trinity (in the Mansel Road Centre) from <strong>11am on Saturday 27 May to 11am on Sunday 28 May<\/strong>\u00a0(to lead into our regular morning worship\u00a0at 11am).<\/p>\n<p>So, how can you help?<br \/>\n1) Could you &#8216;lead&#8217; one of the hours on a particular theme?<br \/>\n2) Could you provide resources for imaginative and different ways to pray?<br \/>\n3) Would you be willing to commit to being there to pray at some point over the 24 hours?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you&#8217;re interested in helping in any way or have any ideas then please get in touch with Katrina Clifford\u00a0as soon as possible. \u00a0Katrina would be\u00a0very keen to hear from those willing to volunteer for overnight (any part of\u00a010pm to 11am\u00a0is possible); we would like\u00a0there to be two\u00a0people at all times, especially for the night shifts.<\/p>\n<p>More information on Thy Kingdom Come can be found at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thykingdomcome.global\/\">https:\/\/www.thykingdomcome.global\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost.
