21 December – Nativity Service

On Sunday we mark the Fourth Sunday of Advent and lighting the candle of Love.  The service at 11:00 will be led by the Revd Dr Jacob Bali (Minister) and will include our Pop-Up Nativity.

There will be opportunities for you, if you wish, to get involved in our ‘Pop-Up’ Nativity.  Entitled The Greatest Journey,  this is an informal and fun re-telling of the story of the birth of Jesus.  The story-telling will also include congregational carols and prayer. 

Participation in the nativity performance is optional but will work best with lots of people taking part, either simply as part of ‘a chorus’ or in a particular role. We will need all the well-known characters: Mary, Joseph, shepherds (and sheep!), Magi, stars, angels ….. so plenty of roles to choose from!    

Following the Service coffee and tea will be available in the Old Hall.  Do join us!
