Trinity’s worship and devotional life reflect its liberal theological position. Trinity is an inclusive church where everyone is welcome.
Sunday Morning Service – 11.00 am
During the Morning Service, a crèche and toddlers’ group for the very young children is provided.
Each Sunday the whole congregation meets together as a family group which includes ‘Family Time‘, when the worship leader talks to the church family. Following this the children (Junior Church and Young People’s Group for those between the ages of 3 and 15) and the Chinese-speaking group leave for their own worship.
Specific family services are held five times in the year: Mothering Sunday; a Sunday celebrating children’s attendance, during the latter part of the summer term; Harvest; the Nativity play at Christmas; and the Sunday after Christmas.
On most Sunday mornings, coffee and tea are served in the Old Hall after the service, and this provides a time for fellowship.
Sunday Evening Service
Occasional evening services are held as advertised, most notably our Maundy Thursday Service, and Service of Carols & Readings by Candlelight.
Holy Communion
Holy Communion is celebrated monthly on the first Sunday of the month. In addition, Communion is celebrated on Maundy Thursday, Easter Day and Christmas Eve.
Our Communion is an open table and those of all Christian traditions (or none) are welcome.
