A “Trinity Angelus”

prerequisites-for-prayer1Starting this month, we invite you to set aside some time each Wednesday lunchtime (any time between 12 noon and 2pm), wherever you are, to join in prayer with the Trinity community.

(The Angelus is a tradition call to prayer).



Prayer topics for this Wednesday (4 January):

At Trinity:  Pray for our Elders’ Council meeting on Wednesday, and for our Children’s New Year Party on Saturday.

Our Borough:  Pray for our Borough’s MPs Stephen Hammond and Siobhain McDonagh, and London Assembly member Leonie Cooper.

URC South London Synod Area:  Pray for our Synod Moderator Nicola Furley-Smith, and Synod Clerk Derrick Dzandu-Hedidor.

The Wider United Reformed Church: Pray for staff at URC Church House, especially as a lengthy refurbishment of the building begins.

Campaigns & events:  As World Braille Day falls on 4 January, pray for all who are working to support people with visual impairments.

World Council of Churches ecumental prayer cycle:  Pray for Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine.
