CCJ Wine tasting at St Mary’s church

Wine tasting

This event should be both entertaining gastronomically and informative. It will be a seated and tutored tasting of fine Israeli wines by Kedem who are a leading importer of the best wines, which have been transformed in recent years since the original biblical era vines left behind by the Romans. There will be great savoury snacks to accompany the wines. There will also be short talks about the use of wine in the Christian tradition and in the Jewish tradition, and the opportunity to see some wines made by the Trappist monks at Latroun monastery in Israel.

Tickets are £10 each, on the door BUT we do need to know if you are coming, so we don’t run out of wine!  So please reply to this invitation as soon as possible if you would like to come, indicating your name and the number of people in your party. If you prefer to reply to Domonic Hobson at St Mary’s (dominichobson@dominichobson.com) or James Leek at Wimbledon Synagogue (jaslek@btinternet.com), whose names are on the flier, then please do so – so long as we know if you are coming.
