Join in with Lent at Trinity
Lent is always a time like no other in the Christian calendar, a chance for us to walk the way of Jesus and spend time apart from the world and alone with his Father God.
We enter this Lent in lockdown and in apprehension of what the rest of the year will hold. Perhaps it has never been more important for us to use this season to reflect on and explore our relationship with God.
We want to encourage everyone at Trinity to find a way to take time away from the world and focus on Jesus and his purpose in our own lives during Lent. We won’t be holding a single Lent course as we have done in previous years, but we want to suggest some resources and materials you might like to use, and give you the opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences with Trinity folk.
You might want to follow a course individually, speak regularly with a friend about what you are doing, or get together with a group to meet up online. Whatever you do – let us know! We’ll be taking time after every Zoom Sunday service to hear what folk are up to, emailing round updates throughout Lent, and then just before Holy Week we will spend time at our online Church Meeting sharing what we have learned and discovered.
We will be showing a variety of resources here over the next few days, so keep watching.
With all best wishes
