The service at 8pm on Maundy Thursday, 14 April, will include Holy Communion and Tenebrae. It will be led by the Revd David Marshall-Jones (retired URC minister).
Tenebrae (latin for “darkness”) takes place in a darkened church lit by a number of candles. A series of Scripture readings chronicles Jesus’s final week. After each reading a candle is snuffed out, until only the Christ candle remains lit.
Everyone will be very welcome to the service.
