Trinity Toddlers had a surprise visit from Santa on Friday 18 December.

For the last two years, the Bible Society has been exploring various retellings of Bible stories. Different authors and illustrators have put their Bible knowledge and storytelling skills to the test, creating a number of brilliant Bible story retellings in formats from poems to comics.

These are all part of their project Pass it On which aims to encourage older Christians to share the Bible with the next generation. And they’d like to encourage you to do that with this film too.

It has been developed using their latest Christmas booklet, written by Bob Hartman and Illustrated by Honor Ayres. This charming retelling of the Christmas story is just four minutes long, so it’s perfect for watching at home with the family or

Copies are available at church   See more on the Bible Society website here.

This is the reaction of everyone as they come into Trinity during the Christmas Tree Festival! Anyone can go to a pantomine.  But we’ve got something unique and very special happening at Trinity.  So don’t miss it!

Today we had a quite amazing variety of entertainment – in addition to the fabulous trees of course!  A choir from Wimbledon High (Junior) School sang beautiful Christmas carols and music for us; the Baked Bean Theatre Company, who regularly hire our premises, were full of exuberance and happiness as they gave us a variety of musical numbers. They were followed by a wonderful concert by Miriam Grant and Judith Flint, performed on piano, viola and violin – the perfect relaxation for a Friday afternoon!  And finally, an hour of Christmas music by the superb Barnes Sax Quartet – a real treat!

And so to our third Festival day – the Big Saturday!
HandbellsThe big event of the day is at 18:00 when two teams of hand bell ringers (the Nonsuch Ringers & Hat Band Ringers) will give us a very special concert.   This group is generously giving their time to us, so please do support them. Children and adults of all ages will enjoy this event.  It will be a perfect event to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Earlier in the day, some of our Trinity musicians will be performing.

At 10:30   ‘Soft Rock (Roger Jones and friends)
At 14:30   We have ‘Just Soh’ (Miriam and the hospice choir).
At 16:00   Eddie Henning and Merton Brass will entertain us.

So come along to all of these events at Trinity’s Festival.

The Festival is now open

Big church clean

The volunteers for the big church cleaning taking a well-earned coffee break.  A big ‘thank you’ to all who came along.  They did a great job of giving the church a thorough clean and tidy in preparation for the Christmas Tree Festival and for Christmas.
