Junior Church will meet as usual, and all children will be most welcome to join. They leave the church for their own activities after the second hymn.
The Chinese Group will also meet for their worship in the Old Hall following the second hymn.
Sunday’s Bible readings will be from the book of Joshua chapter 1: 1-9 and Luke’s gospel chapter 24: 13-35. The theme will be The Road to Emmaus (Wandering Sheep).
Following the Service there is an opportunity for everyone to meet friends and newcomers when coffee and tea will be available in the Old Hall.

Our worship on Sunday at 11:00 will include our monthly celebration of Holy Communion, led by The Revd Jacob Bali (Minister). We will be exploring one of Christ’s appearances following the Resurrection.
The Junior Church and Chinese Group will leave the church after the second hymn for their own time of activities and worship, returning to share in Communion at the end of the service.

Earth Day is an annual event on 22 April when we acknowledge our planet which provides for us, and ways we can protect and preserve its beauty.

The special Celebration Service at 11:00 will be led by the Revd Dr Jacob Bali (Minister). It will include Holy Communion, Confirmation, and reception into church membership of three of our young people.
We will also be celebrating the Blossoming of the Cross when we place flowers on a bare wooden cross to symbolise ‘the new life that emerges from Jesus’s death on Good Friday’. The custom of flowering or blossoming the cross dates back to the sixth century. Please bring some flowers to add to the bare cross if you would like to share in this celebration.

Encouraged by the sunny weather, there was a good turnout for the Palm Sunday United Act of Witness by Wimbledon churches (Holy Trinity, St Mark’s, St Andrew’s and Trinity). Trinity was represented by around twenty members who joined the short service – along with Josh the donkey!

We will celebrate the Ordination of a new Elder (Eric) and his Induction to serve on Elders’ Council, along with Andrew and Claire who are already Elders and were recently elected to serve on Elders’ Council. Grace, Alison and Mike will also be inducted to serve for a second three-year term.
All children are warmly welcome to join our Junior Church. The Chinese Group will also meet for their worship in the Old Hall.
Commitment for Life envelopes will be in the pews for those who wish to donate. Donations go to all the projects Christian Aid supports in Israel and the Occupied Territory, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. You can also donate online on this website.
